The wait for the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ is almost over. From June 9th until July 9th the 32 finalists will battle for the title of “Greatest team on the planet”. Football fans from around the world are eagerly await the start of this tournament, and those fans lucky enough to have tickets for the event are finalising their travel plans
From May 19th – 22nd, the National finals for the Ukrainian Special Olympics team took place in Kyiv. This saw 270 potential Olympians, along with their supporters and coaches arriving into the capital, each being driven by the hope or representing their country in the 2007 Special Olympics, which are due to take place in China. Ukraine have a formidable record in the Special Olympics, and came home with 39 medals from the 2003 Olympics, which took place in Ireland. Kyiv Duty Free joined up with the team during their preparations for the 2003 games, and our Director General and General Manager were proud to be invited to visit the team during the games in Ireland.
Kievrianta in junction with the Honoury Irish Consul of Ukraine, the Irish community and prominent Irish / Ukrainian companies are proud to host an Irish evening for the European Business Association and its members on Tuesday 28th March in O’Briens Irish pub. This will be the first Irish / EBA event and it promises to be an evening of networking, fun and games!
